최근에 코바느질을 배우기 시작한 후 익히는 과정에서 실을 아낌없이 써왔다. 기상천외한 시행착오들이 있었기 때문이다. 이 작업 또한 시도는 좋았으나, 삼각형을 만들려다 실패해서 생긴 도형, 사각형을 뜨다 뭉툭해져버린 조각들 등 의도에서 벗어난 패턴들이 모여서 옹알이를 하고 있다. 개인적으로는 새로운 기술인 뜨개질을 통해 구체적으로 목적한 작업을 완성했다기보다 마치 외국어 같은 이 매체의 속성을 하나씩 이해해나가는 과정을 집합했다. 그리고 이렇게 엮은 결과물 을 60촉(와트) 조명기구에 위탁한다. 완성된 실패작이 부끄 럽지 않은 이유는 손에서 손으로 이루어져가는 작업 과정에 대한 순수한 기쁨 때문일 것이다.

Recently, while learning to crochet, lots of thread were used due to extraordinary errors being made. A failed-triangle-turned-into-some-other-shape, smoothened out corners of squares; these are some examples of patterns which did not turn out as they were originally designed to be. As crocheting was personally a new skill to learn, this project was like grouping the processes of understanding the different traits as if learning a foreign language. Having gathered all the incomplete and failed pieces, I place this result in the hands of a 60-watt lighting. The reason I am not ashamed of the complete failures is because of the pure joy I felt while creating each one with my hands.

It is a polyvalent production working on all the aspects required to put up a performance; direction, graphic, music, space design, prop production, etc. Its art world consists of elements of such performance which exist in the state of non-performance.
