C:빗자루, L:쓰레받이, E:비누, A:타올, N:수세미 알레한드로 융거의 '클린' 이라는 책은 한때 디톡스 열풍을 불러 왔다. 몸 안에 가득한 독소를 씻어내고 새로운 몸으로 태어나는 디톡스 과정에 대한 이야기다. 어쩌면, 클린이란 말이 지금 한국이 처한 상황을 한마디로 잘 표현 해주는 단어일지도 모르겠다. 먼지 같은 지난날에 대한 정화의 과정이자 미뤄둔 미래로 나아가기 위한 시작이기도 하다. 우리는 클린이라는 텍스트를 가지고 그 타입 안에 내재된 형태를 가지고 클리닝 도구를 만든다. 각기 다른 형태와 재료의 클리닝 도구가 한데 모아 클린(CLEAN)이라 는 텍스트를 만들어냄을 통해 관객으로 하여금 각자의 미뤄둔 미래를 위한 청소를 시작하길 바란다.

C:broom, L:dustpan, E:soap, A:towel, N:scrub sponge Alejandro Junger's book 'Clean' had brought about the detox boom a while ago. The book talks about the detox process; eliminating the toxins stored in your body and aiming the rebirth of a new body. Perhaps, the word 'clean' could be the buzz word describing the current state Korea is going through. That is, the process of purifying the dusty past in order to advance into the future long delayed. With the letters of 'clean', we made cleaning tools with the inherent shapes found in the types of the word. When viewing the cleaning tools in various shapes and materials which create the word CLEAN, we hope the viewer begins to clean up for one's own future.
