둥근문자도구

선의 두께가 일정하고 끝이 둥글다는 단순한 두 가지의 특징을 가지면 다양한 문자를 포괄할 수 있는 글씨체가 된다. 둥근문자도구는 한 번에 평행한 한 쌍의 선을 그을 수 있는 도 구와 끝을 둥글게 그릴 수 있는 도구가 짝을 이루고, 작은 글 씨 도구와 큰 글씨 도구가 있다. 특별한 기술이 없는 사람도 손 으로 문자를 쓰는 기쁨을 맛볼 수 있는 최소한의 도구를 만들 었다. 한국에선 '굴림체'가 일본의 서체를 모방한 서체라는 오명과 함 께 중요한 문서에 사용하는 것은 성의 없는 태도라는 인식이 있 다. 둥근 문자 도구는 단순한 두 가지의 특징을 간직하되 다양 한 사용자의 손을 통해 확장되는 과정을 거쳐 둥근 서체에 대한 편견을 덜어주는 도구가 되었으면 한다
Round Font Tools

A set of drawing tools: one of them is to draws parallel lines and the other is to draw round-edge. It is also a set of tools for both small and large fonts. This round font tool is developed with a hope to reduce our prejudice against the perception that the round font seems rather inappropriate or insincere to use for official documents.

Kim Jongbuhm creates various furniture and devices at the Design Collective Nonamenoshop. Additionally, Kim is also currently active as member of a spin-off team Ab group with studio colleague Lee Hyeyeon, and as member of Seoul Model Factory with engineer Choi Jong-un.
